Most teams reach for microservices too early. I'd rather ship a boring, debuggable system than an elegant one nobody can operate at 3am — and I weigh team maturity and blast radius before anyone splits anything.

What never leaves my machine: employer-specific configs, internal service names, anything that fingerprints where I've worked. The judgment transfers; the context stays put.
